Voices for Children of Tampa Bay Names HCP Associates Marketing Firm of Record
TAMPA, Fla. (August 16, 2017) Executive Director Ronna Kennedy and the Voices for Children (VFC) Board of Directors voted unanimously to appoint HCP Associates their Marketing Firm of Record.
VFC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support to advocate for the abused, abandoned and neglected children of Hillsborough County. VFC works closely with the Guardian ad Litem Program, a state funded agency who advocates for children’s best interests within the dependency court system.
The organizations are no stranger to HCP; both agencies have worked with HCP on multiple campaigns, PSAs and special events since 2012. And most recently, VFC tapped HCP to produce and direct a documentary about their Courthouse Dog Program starring Florida’s first facility courthouse dog, Tibet. The documentary’s international debut took place at The Gasparilla International Film Festival in early 2017.
Over the past two years, the number of unrepresented children in Hillsborough County has increased. The county now leads all other Florida counties with 3,600 abused, abandoned and neglected children in the court system. About half of these children have no representation in the court system.
“HCP is proud to support VFC of Tampa Bay once again to manage all their marketing-related needs in order to increase awareness, volunteerism and donations,” says Senior Brand Strategist/Partner at HCP, Eric Polins. “We have delivered impressive growth in the past, but our current mission is to set them up for sustainable growth that won’t challenge their operations.”
The new marketing efforts aim to increase the average number of certified volunteers, increase diversity among volunteers, and increase monetary corporate and individual gifts. HCP’s research team has collected benchmark metrics from the organizations and will monitor progress against established growth goals throughout the duration of the ongoing campaign.
Voices for Children Executive Director Ronna Kennedy said, “We are eager to reconnect with HCP to achieve its volunteer and gift goals to round out the year. HCP understands our mission and our needs and we look forward to enhancing the partnership.”
