Robert Allen Presents Resident & Worker Sentiments at the 2024 Annual Westshore Development Forum
This May, HCP Associates’ Vice President Robert Allen presented the results of the 2023-24 Westshore Resident and Worker Study at the Westshore Alliance’s 2024 Annual Development Forum. This survey was conducted on behalf of the Westshore Alliance, the nonprofit organization that represents Westshore’s special services district (SSD) to support the area’s development and services. Allen presented the survey’s findings to an audience of developers, business owners, and community stakeholders invested in Westshore’s growth—one of the fastest-growing districts in the country. The presentation unveiled key sentiments from Westshore’s residents and workers on pressing issues regarding development, including improving walkability, the need for mass transit, and overall city connectivity.
Allen later discussed these findings on a panel alongside leaders of Westshore’s development plans, including Dr. Johnny Wong, Executive Director of The Hillsborough County Planning Commission, and Ricky De Camps, Director of Development at Crescent Communities.
