Marketing Communications Coordinator

HCP Associates is a 37-year-old research-based marketing communications firm located in the Channelside District in the Joseph Garcia International Center. We offer research, strategy, and marketing support to companies in various industries.

HCP is currently seeking an energetic and professional Marketing Communications Coordinator. This experienced marketing and communications professional will help connect how our communications, marketing, branding, social media, content creation, PR, websites, trade shows, conferences, special events, and advertising come together in serving clients’ marketing and communications strategies and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage multiple social media calendars simultaneously for all marketing and communication-based retainer clients.
  • Write AP-style press releases and content for newsletters, blogs, corporate collateral pieces, social media, and various other PR-based tactics for HCP and our clients.
  • Maintain meeting agendas, conference reports, budgets, and marketing plans to establish a clear picture of client initiatives.
  • Lead trade show and conference event coordination on behalf of our clients, which includes assembling exhibitor schedules, booth logistics, pre-show communication, sourcing promotional item options, and sponsorship collateral.
  • Act as the point person for clients and be able to execute on all phases of transforming ideas and projects into marketing deliverables.
  • Assist with reviewing and performing quality assurance checks on all client websites regularly to ensure any necessary changes, edits, and or content updates are made.

 

Required Education, Experience and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience in content development, PR, marketing, and social media management.
  • Articulate writer/editor with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in B2B and B2C social media marketing. Experience with social media management tools (i.e. Sendible) is preferred.
  • A self-starter, critical thinker, and possesses organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively/efficiently.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Salary range: $45,000-$55,000 (based on experience)
  • Annual education stipend of $2,000
