June 27, 2011 – HCP & Associates Partner nominated as 2011 Leadership Tampa Alumni Cabinet Member

Tampa, Fla. (June 27, 2011) – HCP & Associates Senior Strategist/Partner Eric Polins, a Leadership Tampa ’05 graduate was recently nominated and voted onto the Leadership Tampa Alumni(LTA) Cabinet along with 25 other members.

LTA extends the Leadership Tampa experience by fostering professional relationships, offering unique educational programs and promoting leadership to grow business and build community.

Since 1971, Leadership Tampa has been introducing its class members to major facets of the greater Tampa community through an intensive nine-month course. Founded by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tampa’s members participate in educational sessions, tours and candid conversations with community leaders. Topics including law enforcement, education, social services, the environment, economic development and the arts – to name a few – challenge members to see their community as they never have before. In 1980, the Chamber established Leadership Tampa Alumni as a means to continue serving its graduates.

With more than 550 members representing almost every class since 1971, Leadership Tampa Alumni’s graduates include current civic, business and professional leaders. In fact, nearly every prominent corporation, private business, government and social agency in Hillsborough County is represented in LTA.
