HCP’s Senior Research Director to Serve as Leadership Tampa Bay’s Vice Chair
TAMPA, Fla. (July 30, 2014) The Leadership Tampa Bay Board of Directors has voted in Senior Research Director Sarah Lindemuth as the organization’s vice chair. Lindemuth will be serving in support of Chair Danny Jackson, Principal at Cherry Bekaert, during the 2015 program year.
Leadership Tampa Bay is a non-profit organization governed by an independent board of directors who live and work in various parts of the Tampa Bay region. Funded through tuition and sponsorships, the program offers senior level professionals within Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties a nine-month program where they are introduced to Tampa Bay’s most influential thought-leaders and experts on the region’s most impactful categories. The alumni network of the organization is 26 years strong.
Lindemuth graduated from the program in 2012, and joined the board the following year. In 2014, she co-chaired the PR & Communications Committee. The committee reinvigorated the organization’s social media presence, worked to rebuild connections with alumni and instituted a quarterly newsletter.
“Leadership Tampa Bay was an eye-opening experience for me; even as a Tampa Bay native, I learned so much about the community and how we can all take active roles in improving it. I look forward to helping those in the 2015 class get, and make, the most of their time in the program,” said Lindemuth.
As vice chair, Lindemuth will play an active role in the 2015 class, stepping in to support the chair as needed. Participation will include board updates, program day planning and arrangements, day-of coordination, and carrying out the mission and vision of the 2015 chair for the organization.
