HCP Helps Launch the Tampa Bay Soccer Hall of Fame

TAMPA, Fla. (March 2, 2024)- HCP Associates announces the launch of an exciting new venture for soccer fans throughout Tampa Bay and the nation. On March 2nd, former Tampa Bay Rowdies Player Farrukh Quraishi announced the launch of The Tampa Bay Soccer Hall of Fame. The announcement was made during a watch party hosted by Visit Tampa Bay to commemorate their takeover of the Brentford vs. Chelsea match in London, England. HCP Associates played a critical role in the development of the organization in 2023 which led to the creation of the new brand and online presence, including logo design and branding, as well as launching the website and social media platforms ahead of the official announcement.

The Tampa Bay Soccer Hall of Fame aims to unite all soccer enthusiasts while promoting and honoring the Bay’s rich soccer history. The vision behind this prestigious organization is to preserve the history of Tampa Bay Soccer by not only acknowledging groups and individuals for their contributions to the game but also involving the community. They plan to announce a board of directors this summer along with plans for their inaugural event in 2025.

For the official announcement, HCP helped facilitate a partnership with Visit Tampa Bay, to announce the new venture during the Visit Tampa Bay Takeover of the Brentford vs. Chelsea match in Brentford, England. At the stadium, Visit Tampa Bay displayed advertising and gave away a 3-day trip to a UK family, as part of encouraging UK travel to the Tampa Bay area. For fans at home, Visit Tampa Bay hosted a watch party at MacDinton’s Irish Pub in South Tampa, where the Tampa Bay Soccer Hall of Fame was officially announced during half-time. Along with Farrukh, several former soccer pros who call Tampa home were in attendance, including Mark Lindsay and Perry Van der Beck.

We encourage soccer fans within the Tampa Bay community to share their memorable stories of soccer throughout the Bay, including those who grew up supporting the game with families and friends.
