HCP Associates Returns from Successful Trade Mission to Toronto

TAMPA, Fla. (October 23, 2015) In order to promote export opportunities for local companies, HCP’s Senior Business Strategist/Partner Sean Coniglio completed a four day trade and business mission to Toronto, Canada with roughly 70 other local leaders and business owners.

Hosted by the Tampa Bay Export Alliance, featured participants included Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners Chair Sandy Murman, Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners Vice Chair Charlie Justice and Dale Gordon, Executive Director of the Tampa Hillsborough Film & Digital Media Commission.

Coniglio said, “Being able to take part in this integral mission to promote international trade was an honor. I think we all feel this type of interaction will provide many new opportunities for small and large businesses, communities, and elected officials. We also share a deep passion for the business of film and digital media with our northern friends and Toronto has become known as one of the best film-friendly and incentivized communities in the world; something we also strive to be.”

According to the Tampa Bay Export Alliance, this mission provided attendees with an opportunity to meet and interact with high-level corporate and government leaders and prospective Canadian trade partners through one-on-one matchmaking sessions, roundtables and networking events.
