HCP Associates Completes Strategic Plan for the Westshore Alliance

Tampa, Fla. (May 17, 2023) – HCP Associates recently delivered a strategic plan to the Westshore Alliance. Michael Maurino, executive director of the Westshore Alliance, announced the strategic plan at the organization’s 2023 Development Forum. This announcement was the culmination of months of work put into crafting a new 10-year strategic plan for the group as it prepares for the next decade of growth and development in the Tampa Bay region.

The Westshore Alliance’s goal of the strategic plan was to collect data from key stakeholders in the district and organization to determine how the organization can be a better advocate for improvements in the Westshore District of Tampa as well as be a more dynamic group for its member businesses. This process included speaking with key stakeholders, a series of executive workshops, surveys of current and lapsed members, and secondary research of similar organizations across the United States.

The insights from the data collected by HCP Associates allowed for the Westshore Alliance to develop a series of objectives focused on furthering the development of the district and enhancing the Westshore Alliance as an organization. These two objectives are focused on facilitating and shaping the development of the district into a premier, mixed-use district while also engaging more deeply in advocacy work that continues to promote the interests of the Westshore District and its member businesses.

The plan generated by HCP Associates helped the Westshore Alliance clearly establish the focus of its work for the district and its member businesses over the next decade.
