HCP Associates’ Eric Polins Appointed as Board Member to Team Godwin Foundation

TAMPA, Fla. (July 10, 2019) – Eric Polins, one of HCP Associates’ Managing Partners, was recently appointed as a board member to the Team Godwin Foundation. The organization recently held their first board meeting at Zoo Tampa.

The Team Godwin Foundation is a 501 c (3) organization providing a second chance for at-risk children and animals through advocacy and financial support. Founded by Tampa Bay Buccaneers Receiver Chris Godwin and his girlfriend Mariah DelPercio, Team Godwin seeks to help children and pets in need within the Tampa Bay community. Programs like the Second Chance Fund help fund life-saving treatments for suffering animals, while advocacy programs are intended to promote the importance of animal adoption and the fight against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation.

Across the United States, millions of dogs and cats are euthanized annually due to overcrowding. With shelter intake numbers on the rise, the number of animals euthanized could potentially decrease if more individuals chose to adopt instead of buy.  If interested in adopting a furry companion, visit one of the local Tampa Bay animal shelters! Several include: SPCA Tampa Bay, the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center, and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Godwin, DelPercio, Polins and numerous other board members are also alumni from The Pennsylvania State University; the largest college alumni association in the world.
