Challenge:

HCP was tasked with conceptualizing, developing, and producing four unique HD broadcast-quality public service announcements (PSAs) to attract camp volunteers, philanthropists, and medical volunteers and foster general interest in the camp statewide. 

Solution:

HCP produced four HD Camp Boggy Creek commercials that aired two times a day on 19 channels for three months. With over 3,000 spots, the exposure was a huge financial success for the fundraising campaign, titled “Let the Love Shine.”  The spots appeared on CNBC, TNT, ESPN, ESPN HD, ESPN 2, ESPN Classics, HGTV, Food Network, Disney, and many more.

Camp Boggy Creek was founded by renowned philanthropists Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. This Eustis-based camp was created to enrich the lives of children who have chronic or life-threatening illnesses by creating camping experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe, and medically sound. The camp offers weeklong summer sessions for children and family retreat weekends for the whole family. 

The spots received several industry accolades, including awards from Tellys, Ava, Hermes, MarCom, Videographer, and many others.
